Fortunately, I got all my angsting out of the way over the past five years or so. This is completely not where I thought I'd be, but eh. I'm a little disappointed in the art progress, but the only cure is to do more work! This was going to be a longer entry, but most of the navel gazing was stupid. Mostly I think I want breakfast. Oh - happy mutual birthday, Current Mood: Current Music: the radiator jangles and tweets December 5th, 2009bigbadg @ : the company that ruined christmas All that is, appart from me. Despite the fact i applied for this holiday over 6 weeks ago, i'm stuck in work talking to a bunch of retards from manchester and liverpool who didnt take notice of the 2 year advertising campaign that told them their tv was being turned of. I am angry beyond words about this. It feels like i have let the group down. When you combine this with the fact that due to work i'm constantly showing up late and missing rehersals (again, because they wont give me time off) i'm starting to wonder if i should have a life outside work. so far with work it's 4 days holiday allowed, 23 declined. Wow, i feel like a realy valued member of staff. fuckers December 4th, 2009beard5 @ : The show went very well... ![]() Today I'm actually heading out by bus to the mall to pick up some odds and ends, so have fun everyone! Of course it doesn't take for this individual recently, the Insincere lying two-faced low-life that they are. Welcome to Monday. I just hope that the rest of the week picks up. November 29th, 2009diegoliger @ : Mess Night I am of the increasing opinion Napoleon III EITHER had sponsorship from moustache-wax manufacturers or had shares in them, because it took masses to get my moustache to wax into shape, leaving my whole top lip fealing rather stiff and immobile. Sadly, with eating and heat from a room it drooped rather. I also did my hair in the same style as Napoleon, which I feal rather suited me. lol. In the B&B Andy and I stayed at - a bit cruddy but ok - one guy in the bar as I left asked me if my moustache was my own (!) and walking to the Pavillion Hotel drew stares...well its not everyday you see a Georgian Gent and a guy who for all intents and purposes looks like the Napoleon I walking down the street (short, greatcoat, cocked hat). Again, it was like a lot of Gard events, rather odd there not being mum present but despite a lack of Mum and two now shows from Mr Perry and Snakebite I feel a good evening was had consuming bottles of wine and port and some really rather wobbly Black Sheep bitter. I was a tad pissed but still able to have a cogent conversation with Jon about General Lee at Gettysberg that we really have to finish. Pootling home today Andy and I had some rather awesome ideas for a U.N.I.T. based LARP which would involve a massive budget but would be very much in the psychological horror mould type thing with reports coming in on differant terminals, and via a teleprinter. Pics of Mess Night will be posted by Andy at a later date...but one pic of me makes me look very....flabby around the face and a bit pissed...ho hum. November 28th, 2009bigbadg @ : maelstrom costume help Does anybody know where i can get a Zouave jacket at a reasonable (less than £120) price? Tags: maelstrom costume bigbadg @ : back home, thoughts and musings He's wonderful. such a cute and well behaved baby... It cant possibly last. While this is certainly good news, the fact that i got delayed for 4 hours in cardiff due to a signaling failure meant that i missed half my mothers birthday party, Damn you arriva wales! even though i'm home i'm feeling realy isolated from my family. In the past i've always had somebody to talk to and be myself around. First my grandmother, then Sara, then Carrie. I dont have access to these people any more or the relationship we had has changed and we are no longer as close. It's realy constricting not being able to talk to anything about certain parts of my life. I'm not sure i life it. Anyway... shopping for a new tumbledryer tomorrow, followed by party for my aunt and then going to do some rifle hunting with my brother for game stew on sunday. i suspect i'm going to get very wet as a result. They had a piece of Babbage's difference engine! I feel like I've just seen a copy of the Necronomicon, I didn't think that any pieces of the difference engine were ever produced. I now have the warm and contented glow of someone who has witnessed SCIENCE! Current Mood: |
